Which Forum?

This site hosts a number of different communities associated with interactive multimedia projects in the classroom. Before you join any of them, you may want to familiarise yourself with the forum's privacy policy and more in-depth descriptions of any group you're interested in.

The Interactivities Forum

Where it all started. A group of about 100 educators from around the world involved in cutting edge work that transforms the curriculum. In this forum, we discuss different tools, projects and examples of good and bad practice.

The Flash Forum

Unsurprisingly, Macromedia's Flash features highly in many people's work. As far as tools go, it is one of the most versatile that many of us have used. This forum, moderated by Geoff Dellow, is aimed at introducing beginners to a range of projects they can work on with their students.

Geoff also has a very reasonably priced CD of Flash resources for teachers that you may also find extremely useful. You may have seen it at the 2001 BETT exhibition.

The Mentoring Forum

A new venture from September 2001. This forum is geared specifically to new teachers and student teachers who want to move beyond the basics of integrating information and communications technology into their curriculum, but don't know where to start.
